The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of war and internal violence and to provide them with assistance. It also endeavors to prevent suffering by promoting and strengthening humanitarian law and universal humanitarian principles.
The ICRC Mission in Jerusalem, is seeking a qualified and motivated candidate to fill in the following position of Cashier
- Manages the petty cash and prepares cash statements on a daily basis
- Prepares and processes cash, cheques and transfers payments
- Participates in cash- flow management, and handles cash replenishment from the bank
- Manages working advances, and calculates private charges/reimbursement and update on the JDE accounting software
- Registers,updates,and verifies the JDE system at all times
- Deals with suppliers’ invoices and keep monitoring
- Responsible for the packing of the closing documents
- Extracts and distributes the monthly account details for expatriates and other entities
- A University degree in Accounting
- Fluent command of English. Knowledge of Hebrew is an asset
- Computer Literacy
- 2 years’ work experience in a similar field
- Good communication skills
- Good analytical skills
- Rigorous and trustful person
- Some JDE proficiency is an asset
