Raqami
TV is largest tech-focused YouTube channel in the Arab region with more
than 2 million followers on YouTube and Social Media.
Raqami is looking for an “Arabic-English Translator” to translate the subtitles of the videos that Raqami publish.
Translator’s responsibilities:
- Translate the scripts of every video, report or clip that the channel will publish on YouTube
- Convert concepts in the source language “Arabic” to equivalent concepts in the target language.
- Compile information, such as technical terms used within industry settings, into glossaries and terminology databases to be used in translations
- Relay the style and tone of the original language
- Manage work schedules to meet deadlines
- Render spoken messages accurately, quickly, and clearly
Main requirements:
- Has a previous experience in tech-related translation.
- Tech savvy and has a good knowledge of the latest tech news.
- Able to work under tight schedules and deadlines.
